Wildest of All — author

When it came to writing my second novel, I deliberately moved away from the first person narrative I'd gravitated to in Armadillos. As an actor, it's so simple to step into someone else's world and pretend to be them. As a writer, I wanted to challenge myself, but having spent so much time in Texas I also wanted to explore something a little closer to home. Write what you know, they say and, having lost both my parents in my early twenties, I know grief.

Reader, 'knowing grief' did not make writing this book any easier.
